University of Technology, Sydney
Formed in 1995, the Malaysian Student's Association (MASA) of the University of Technology, Sydney is a student body who strives to create a fun, enjoyable and loving environment for you.
University of New South Wales
MSO UNSW was founded back in mid-1970s and is an established social, cultural and non-profit-organisation for Malaysian students in UNSW. MSO has been successful in helping newly-arrived Malaysian students make a smooth transition from home to Sydney, fostering long-standing friendships and promoting a wholesome university experience via various activities throughout the year. MSO also acts as a point of contact between other clubs and professional associations both in Australia and Malaysia. MSO also widens its network through strong affiliations with other Malaysian students' organisations from Sydney University (SUAMS), University Technology of Sydney (MASA) and Macquarie University (MSA), among many affiliated clubs under MASCA NSW.
University of Sydney
The Sydney University Association of Malaysian Students (SUAMS) is an association that acts as a platform where Malaysian students can initiate their social and educational journey in Sydney as well as to promote the Malaysian culture to non-Malaysians at the university.
SUAMS organizes a wide range of sporting, social and cultural events throughout the semester including joint events with other Malaysian societies in other universities in NSW. Activities include dragon boating, dance parties and food events to celebrate Malaysian festivals.
Macquarie University
MSA is a student organisation intent on providing a number of services and organising social activities for its members to foster a community environment on campus. Throughout the year, members will have the chance to get involved or simply enjoy a line up of social, sporting and cultural events including barbecues, dance parties, and inter-university sports carnivals, amongst many others.
By coordinating with Malaysian student organisations from other universities in Sydney such as UNSW, UTS, and University of Sydney, there will be opportunities for members to mingle with members of Malaysian student organisations from other universities and be involved in events hosted by them. MSA aspires to work closely with its members to create a memorable and fulfilling experience for Malaysians studying in Sydney. Please feel free to contact us should you have any queries, suggestions or feedback, or would like to help out with any of the events. We would love to hear from you! Once again, the MSA committee looks forward to working with, and serving its member community at Macquarie University.
